The time has come once again to welcome back the crisp, cool weather. Break out the cozy sweaters, surround yourself with pumpkin spice everything and cozy up with a fresh cup of Electric City Roasting’s specialty coffee blend, Harvest. This autumn blend is one of our favorites; a seasonal release that combines some of our best coffees and captures the warm nostalgia that fall brings, especially in our beautiful hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

WELCOME BACK HARVEST

Our Harvest blend this year is made up of our El Salvador Ayutepeque, Peru Adriel and Ethiopian Guji coffees. The El Salvador coffee is from a partner farm that we have worked with for years now and is the bass note of Harvest blend – providing a solid foundation to add components to, with a great body and sustaining flavor. The Peru Adriel Huaman is from the Cusco region and gives us a pleasantly nutty flavor and subtle sweetness with every sip. The Ethiopian Guji is more of a subtle offering to the blend, but have no doubts, this coffee packs a punch and provides Harvest with one of its best attributes: a really sweet, floral and complex acidity that gives it a nice finish. This is where we get the “crisp-ness” of this blend. Each of these three coffees play a key role in creating the great Harvest Blend. Each coffee tastes great on its own, but blended together, they create something amazing. This is our obsession with blending coffees to see what amazing flavors we can create.

Harvest is available for purchase here on the website, in our local coffee shop, ECR Park, offered as a pour over, and in many grocery stores local to the Northeastern Pennsylvania area

The pour over brewing method we use at our cafe will bring these flavor notes to another level, and we highly recommend you stop by and let us brew you a cup! It’s also the perfect coffee to add fall flavors to, such as pumpkin pie or cinnamon, to spice it up. Afterwards you can pick up a bag for yourself, with the options of whole bean or ground for your brewer of choice. We are excited for you to give this delicious coffee a try for yourself, and we are sure you’ll be coming back for more!
